NEW CLASS ADDED TO SCHEDULE:
JIVAMUKTI IMMERSION at TRIYOGA Soho
24th – 26th October 2014
Jivamukti Yoga Immersions take you deeper into the study of Jivamukti Yoga as they are part of our continuing education project. The curriculum is derived from the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training Course and is taught by Advanced Certified Jivamukti teachers who have been on the faculty of a JY Teacher Training and/or a past Immersion. Immersions provide a terrific opportunity to awaken or deepen your yoga practice, meet old and new friends, and build a global yoga community. Immersions are suitable for practitioners of all levels and spiritual disciplines.
“Jivamukti Yoga is a practice which transforms the individual by means of spiritual activation. Through its practices we can as members of a greater, world-wide community dismantle this present culture and begin to build a new way of life—where peace, love and harmony among all beings forms the foundation. We don’t have time to wait for enlightenment, alone in isolated caves or yoga bubbles—now is the time to become spiritually activated so that we can see what we have known in our hearts all along—that what we do to the world we ultimately do to ourselves.”—Sharon Gannon
BLACK AND LIGHT YOGA
Black and Light Yoga is a beautiful balance between a strong flowing yoga practice (Jivamukti Yoga) and a full on rave dance. The event is set out very carefully to bring the best bits of both together, moving into the dance at the optimum moment for maximum enjoyment and back to yoga when it is perfect.
The whole event is set under the black light (UV light) with live DJ
This event is as the stunning space Cecil Sharp House ( bottom of Camden) in the main hall. We have a wicked sound system coming in and visuals to blow your mind.
28th October 19.00-22.00

Hip opening workshop
The activities and stresses of our daily lives can often lead to tightness and discomfort in our hips.
When the hips are closed or stuck, vital body systems cannot function properly, including digestion and elimination. Lack of mobility in the hips can also cause problems with the lower back and knees joints.
Daily sitting results in compression of the psoas – the muscles that join your upper body to your lower body..
Hip opening postures can release stress and negative emotional memories, which may be stored in your hips on an energetic level (Svadisthana and Muladhara Chakras).
By focusing deeply and turning your attention inwards we can begin to truly listen to the body on an energetic and emotional level as well as on a physical level
This workshop will focus on ways to ease some of that tension and bring about space and mobility making us less chair shaped!
